WAS - $10,500-OBO - IT IS NOW -- $9,250 --
This is a great airplane that need little work to bring back to flying status!
Quickie Q-2 N169TB 90-95% Was flying a couple of years ago. I purchased it and decided I wanted it to be perfect, so I brought it to 'Legend Of Aces Aviation' in Michigan. And Patrick there has been doing a marvelous job reworking it!

However, as life goes, I must sell the airplane.
I was asking only $12,000 Or Best Offer...but now it is reduced to $10,500! I MUST sell this plane.

SOLD IN AS IS CONDITION-IT IS NOT FLYABLE.
If you want it finished, I highly recommend Legend Of Aces for the work! My PH# 616-307-7269

UPDATE:
I have an update on things
I picked it up from the A&P who was doing the work over in Michigan. I have it in a shop building, and the engine is out and the tail is off for shipping. It has a Revmaster-2100D.
Performance of the aircraft is excellent, cruse is: 155mph-solo and 135mph-gross. Top speed was recorded at 187mph flat and level in smooth air. Fuel usage is 3-4GPH. It weighs 535lbs and gross is 1000lbs.
As for condition the plane is in good condition but obviously does need work. The work that has already been done since I purchased it has been done by Patrick at Legends of Aces in Michigan. He does GREAT work and is a joy to work with! The project is on his website at www.legendofaces.com click on 'aviation site' then on 'projects' and you will see it. He has an extensive photo-record of all the work he has done on it. It has all new control linkages(except the tailwheel because I was going to have him replace it with an upgraded design that is preferred by many of the Q-2 pilot/builders) and push/pull tubes with correct AN parts. It has all new wiring to proper aviation specs on the panel and most of the engine wiring has been redone as well. It will need a new prop as the one I have has an uncorrectable crack (damaged while moving the plane by hand-I caught the edge of the pavement and it split the end of the prop about 4" back)and will not be included with the plane(only about $400 to replace). As for the airframe the A&P doing the work(Patrick) told me that it was very well constructed and is in very good condition.(he can see things I might not have) My plan was to have him completely go through the plane and fix any issues we could find and upgrade it with full lighting for day and night VFR as well as a new panel and some small changes such as throttle position. It has a new control stick, a very nice one. Some of the things left are the tailwheel which should be changed for the upgraded design and the brakes need to be reinstalled.(the brakes need a little work) It has had the interior removed in order to resurface the interior. It will need the engine reinstalled. Some cosmetic work on a couple small areas on the outside of the plane. There are always all the little things that seem to pop up as well. I can take pictures of anything you would like. I can also ship it to anywhere in the lower 48 for $2.00 per loaded mile. It is a good plane with only about 185hours airframe and engine. It has a Revmaster 2100D and a ram air setup for the carb. (I forgot the brand of carb but I can find out if you want)
When I talked with Patrick from Legend Of Aces, he and I figured another $2,000-$3,000+/- would most likely finish her to perfection. That's assuming all parts up to proper aviation specs and grade, plus the upgraded tailwheel, and position and landing lights.(it has no lighting right now as it is day-VFR only at the moment)and the prop. It would still need a radio and transponder, because it does not have either.
The plane is located in SW Wisconsin near
K73C Lancaster, WI. (I live 2 miles from the airport and I have it at a shop building.
I will upload new pictures of its current condition as soon as I am able.

-I will ship it anywhere in the lower 48 for $2.00 per loaded mile. I have a 33' flatbed gooseneck trailer that I would use.

THANKS FOR LOOKING!
