1935 Lockheed 10E 600 hours on airframe and engines since restoration. This rare Lockheed 10E is a duplicate of Amelia Earhart's Lockheed 10E. It was completely restored in 1996 and flown around the world following AE's route. It has 600 hours on it since the restoration. New engines were provided by Pratt & Whitney at the time of the restoration. The airplane has a global nav system coupled to an S-Tec auto pilot, 1100 gallons fuel and large aux oil tanks. The airplane is in excellent condition ready to fly anywhere on the planet or it will make an excellent museum display aircraft. The Lockheed 10 was the first airplane designed for Lockheed by Kelly Johnson the engineer who eventully developed the SR-71. Call for more information.
